CHULA VISTA —
A 14-year-old boy suffered several gunshot wounds outside a house party in Chula Vista Saturday night, a police lieutenant said.
The victim apparently got into a confrontation with two people near a house on West Manor Drive near I Esplanade shortly after 9:20 p.m. where a party was being held.
“One of those individuals fired several rounds and he was struck a few times,” police Lt. Scott Adkins said.
Doctors told police the teen is expected to make a full recovery, Adkins said.
Investigators so far have few leads in the case and did not have a good description of the shooter to release. “Nobody there was too cooperative so we’ve just got very, very limited details,” he said.
