2000trees Festival 2024 has some big shoes to live up to.
Earlier this year, the 2023 edition of the stunning festival introduced the likes of Bob Vylan, Skindred, Soft Play, Dead Pony, No Devotion, and countless other artists.
Well… they’ve really brought their A-game for 2024, as they just announced their first batch of artists, including some headliners.
Manchester Orchestra are heading up the festival, hot off the heels of the release of their latest album The Valley of Vision.
Kids In Glass Houses are also joining the fray, and so, too, are Hot Mulligan and Lambrini Girls – just to start.
On top of that, the festival – which takes place from July 11 – 14, 2024 – will introduce horror icons Creeper to the line-up. They’ll no doubt be providing some wonderful spooky experiences in the heat of summer.
2000trees Festival’s booker, James Scarlett, said of the line-up: “Once again we’re bringing a line-up of 2000trees legends, including the likes of Boston Manor and The Xcerts, to open the festival on the Wednesday night for those of you lucky enough to get your hands on a 4-Day ticket.”
He added: “We’re also stoked to be welcoming so many bands like The Gaslight Anthem, Manchester Orchestra, Hot Mulligan and Better Lovers to the festival for the very first time. 2000trees 2024 is already shaping up to be something truly special – don’t sleep on it!”
He isn’t the only one excited, as Kids In Glass Houses frontman Aled Phillips noted: “2000trees feels like the perfect setting for us to begin our new era and we honestly can’t wait for next summer. Trees is such an important UK festival and we’re honoured to be back playing alongside so many incredible and inspiring bands.”
Chris Freeman, the guitarist from American pop-punk band Hot Mulligan, said: “I’m really excited to be playing 2000trees. A bunch of our friends have been going over there for years and have nothing but good things to say about the festival. It’s going to be great to see it in person for once instead of living vicariously through videos.”
Dead Pony guitarist, Blair Crichton, added: “Our first time at 2000trees was last year and we felt like we had come home. There is no other festival with an atmosphere like trees. They are cultivating a scene that promotes the youth and respects the past. We feel blessed to be invited back and onto bigger stages this year, it’s gonna be massive!!”
