We Are FSTVL is just around the corner, kicking off on Friday, August 25, 2023, and continuing through the bank holiday weekend.
And while the line-up has been (seemingly) set in stone for some time, this week the festival execs have just added surprise headliner to the mix: Skepta.
Yes, the award-winning rapper and producer – best known for such hits as That’s Not Me, Energy and Shutdown – will be joining the ranks of We Are FSTVL next month in Damyns Hall Aerodrome, Upminster.
He’ll be wearing a different musical hat, though, as he hits the Solid Grooves Stage on Saturday, August 26, following the release of his House music imprint Más Tiempo.
And he’ll be joined by a number of other massive artists as well, including Seth Troxler, PAWSA, Dennis Cruz, Silvie Loto and Traumer.
The Solid Grooves Stage is also known as “Terminal 2.0” and is being billed as FSTVL’s “largest and most immersive stage concept yet”.
The festival’s bosses added that it’s the most “most exciting festival production in the UK this year”.
Don’t take their word for it, though. We Are FSTVL tickets are still available, so if Skepta’s arrival is all that was stopping you from getting involved, you should get yours now while you can here.
Prices begin at £56.50 for day tickets and payment plans for more expensive packages are also available.
Skepta recently told Mixmag: “I’ve always known I’m more than a rapper… Going forward I want to show my attention to detail and relentless hard work ethic in different ways and DJing is one of them.”
Skepta will be joining the likes of The Prodigy, Jack Carter, Example and Andy C at We Are FSTVL.
