A 50-year-old man was stabbed early Thursday at a Normal Heights park in an attack that reportedly involved multiple people, police said.
The incident was reported just before 5:20 a.m. at Teralta Park near 40th Street and Orange Avenue, San Diego police said in a statement.
A witness told police that multiple people surrounded the victim and appeared to punch him.
However, due to the foggy conditions and lack of light, the victim was not able to provide detailed descriptions of the suspects.
The victim was transported to a hospital with six stab wounds to his back and stab wounds to his extremities.
Police said the victim did not provide any information regarding the incident or the suspects.
