The pharmacy giant is one of several British retailers that has planned to reduce its number of physical highstreet stores this side of Christmas.
Earlier this year, Boots announced the closure of 300 UK stores with a timeline stretching to the end of 2023.
More than half a dozen branches have already ceased trading, two of which were in major shopping centres.
But with 300 planned to go, there are still many more shops at risk of closure across the country.
Seven sites have been confirmed in the next wave of redundant Boots stores which will start to pack up in a matter of weeks.
The planned closures are part of the retailer’s plan to reduce its stores from 2,200 to 1,900, which bosses believe will help “consolidate the business”.
Despite the mass loss of physical Boots sites, it doesn’t necessarily mean a loss of jobs for workers.
The pharmacy giant is reportedly offering alternative roles to all affected employees.
