A trash truck collided with an MTS trolley Thursday afternoon in downtown San Diego, police officials said.
The incident was reported just after 12:15 p.m. near the intersection of Eighth Avenue and C Street.
A photo of the incident taken by a bystander shows the truck being struck on its passenger side by the multi-car trolley that appeared to be heading eastbound.
The truck can be seen being lifted off its right side tires.
A passenger on the trolley received minor injuries and was transported to a hospital, San Diego police said. The operator of the trolley also received a minor injury but was not transported to a hospital.
The truck was towed away, police said.
