Robert De Niro stars opposite himself as two rival mob bosses in a new gangster thriller from the creators of Goodfellas called The Alto Knights. Check out the trailer below.
He may be turning 82 this year, but Robert De Niro certainly isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
Best known for his Martin Scorsese gangster epics, the Oscar-winner is teaming up once again with the screenwriter and producer of Goodfellas,
And incredibly, De Niro is starring opposite himself in duel roles as rival mob bosses.
The film “follows two of New York’s most notorious organised crime bosses, Frank Costello (De Niro) and Vito Genovese (De Niro), as they vie for control of the city’s streets. Once the best of friends, petty jealousies and a series of betrayals place them on a deadly collision course that will reshape the Mafia (and America) forever.”
Directed by Rain Man’s Barry Levinson, the upcoming film co-stars Debra Messing, Cosmo Jarvis and more.
The Alto Knights hits UK cinemas on March 21, 2024.
