A woman who was killed after a driver drove over her while she was sleeping in a San Ysidro parking lot has been identified as Deborah Linda Super, 65.
The incident occurred about 6:15 a.m. on Jan. 12 in a parking lot off East San Ysidro Boulevard just north of Camino de la Plaza near the Mexican border, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
A man driving a Honda sedan had accidentally driven forward and over the edge of a concrete wall, unknowingly pinning the woman under his car, according to the medical examiner’s report.
The injured woman was discovered after a tow truck driver was called to move the car. The Medical Examiner’s Office identified Super as homeless and said she was sleeping between a short concrete barrier and the wall when she was struck.
She died at the scene.
