Queen Camilla looked gorgeous today in a light pink dress by Fiona Clare. This was the dusky pink wool crepe coat dress. The colour may have been a very deliberate decision as Queen Elizabeth II wore this same shade during her own visit to France in 2014.
Coat dresses are a staple for Camilla and have essentially become her royal wardrobe.
The pink dress nipped the royal in at the waist, showcasing her slim figure. The flared skirt billowed in the breeze as she got off the plane.
To accessorise Camilla went for a Philip Treacy hat. This was the pink beret-shaped hat with a leaf design.
Camilla has been spotted wearing Fiona Clare on a number of occasions.
Earlier this year in March, Camilla welcomed the Colonel Commandment of the Rifles Regiment on Wednesday in Clarence House.
For this special occasion she wore an emerald green dress by the same designer.
Fiona Clare’s official website describes her as an “award-winning couturier who has been creating beautiful, bespoke, formal, evening and bridal wear, with classic, elegant clean cut designs, for over 30 years”.
Today, Camilla accessorised with the Philip Treacy beret which boasted lots of decorative feathers.
Philip Treacy’s website explains that he is “the world’s most in demand hat designer”.
It is fitting, therefore, that his marvellous designs are worn by the Queen herself.
Camilla stepped out in a cream and baby blue Philip Treacy creation at the Doncaster Racecourse just last week. On Maundy Thursday earlier this year she wore one in navy and white.
Underneath her fab hat today, Queen Camilla wore her buttery blonde locks in her signature style, flicked out to the sides.
As for jewellery, the royal wowed in her go-to diamond and pearl clip-on earrings (Camilla has vowed to never get her ears pierced).
She also wore a a statement pearl necklace. This appeared to be The Four-Stranded Necklace with Round Diamond Clasp.
The Court Jeweller described this piece as “one of the absolute workhorses of Camilla’s jewel collection”. It is certainly one of her favourites.
Camilla’s shoes and handbag were very neutral and complemented the pink dress nicely. Her bag was the Charlotte Elizabeth Crossbody Handbag in Taupe, priced at £375.
