Two 7-Elevens were robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning and suspects are still at large, San Diego police said.
The holdups, only 30 minutes apart, took place at the 7-Eleven at 105 W. D Street, next to the Encinitas neighborhood sign, and another location on Convoy Street near Othello Avenue in the Convoy District.
San Diego police said the suspects were three men, all armed with handguns, and were described by a clerk as short and thin. They were driving a black four-door sedan.
The suspects started at the Convoy District 7-Eleven at 3:55 a.m., police said, and then went to the Encinitas location around 4:25 a.m. The suspects were last seen fleeing north in the black sedan.
San Diego police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
