Authorities have publicly identified a 60-year-old woman who was killed last weekend in a traffic crash in the rural southerneastern reaches of San Diego County.
Kathryn Fuller of Lakeside was riding a three-wheeled motorbike on westbound state Route 94 in Dulzura when a Subaru Crosstrek exited a dirt driveway directly in her path about 11 a.m. Sunday, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office and California Highway Patrol.
The resulting collision ejected Fuller from the motorcycle and sent her into a roadside creek just east of Dutchman Canyon Road, officials said.
Witnesses pulled Fuller out of the waterway and performed CPR on her prior to the arrival of paramedics, who took over the lifesaving efforts before pronouncing her dead at the scene of the crash.
The 29-year-old driver of the SUV and her passenger, a 31-year-old man, suffered no injuries in the collision, CHP Officer Jasmine Lopez said.
