Election Day is Nov. 7. That’s the last day to vote in person at a vote center. It’s also the last day voters can drop their completed ballots in the mail or in a drop box.
All registered voters in District 4 began receiving mail ballots the week of Oct. 9, which they can return by mail or to one of 27 ballot drop boxes stationed throughout the district. In fact, some voters were sent two ballots in error; one has been suspended by county elections officials, although voters can return either of the two ballots.
Voters can also bring their ballot to or vote in person at any of 14 vote centers open on Election Day, seven of which also offer early in-person voting for 10 days before then. Early voting at the registrar began even sooner, starting Monday, Oct. 9.
The county has published lists and interactive maps of locations of ballot drop boxes and vote centers.
The race proceeded to the November runoff because no candidate won a majority of the vote in August. The top two finishers from the August election are on the ballot this fall, and the winner will serve the remainder of the current term, through January 2027.
