Marks and Spencer
M&S announced it is closing 64 of its clothing and home branches by the end of the year, including the Wrexham store which is set to shut down on November 30.
Luckily for shoppers, the store is relocating and locals in Wrexham will get a brand new Foodhall which will open in Plas Coch Retail Park on December 1.
Marks and Spencer commented: “Our store rotation and investment programme is about making sure we have the right stores, in the right place, with the right space. Whilst our store rotation programme involves closing some stores, it also means relocating and opening new stores in locations across the country.”

Tesco
The Tesco Express in Mount Pleasant, near Liverpool John Moores University campus, will close for good on November 15.

Boots
Boots announced five UK branches will disappear in November, including the Gorleston store, in Great Yarmouth, and the Boots High Row, in Darlington, which closed earlier this month. This is as part of the company’s plan to shut 300 shops over a 12-month period.

- Mudge Way, Plymouth – closing on November 18
- Mount Pleasant, Exeter – closing on November 18
- Kirkby Ashfield – closing on November 18
Homebase
Homebase closed two stores in November, the Marsh Mills Retail Park branch, in Plymouth, another one in Southam Road, Banbury, and a third one is set to close on December 10.

New Look
New Look is set to shut another store before Christmas. The branch in Shirley, Southampton, will be permanently closing its doors on December 3.
The fashion retailer closed the Maybird Shopping Park store, in Stratford-Upon-Avon, on October 28, and the shops in Stratford-Upon-Avon, Beverly, East Yorkshire, Slough and Lancaster in September.
