SAN DIEGO —
San Diego police gang detectives are investigating a drive-by shooting Saturday night in Rolando that left two people with injuries that were not considered life threatening.
A shooter wearing black clothing fired several rounds into a crowd of people just after 10:40 p.m., according to San Diego police.
A 35-year-old man was shot in the stomach and a 35-year-old woman was shot in the back, police said. They were both transported to a local hospital.
The shooting took place on Virginia Avenue between Acorn Street and Stanley Avenue. No description of the vehicle was available.
