Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh watched the Driving Marathon at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in Windsor Castle accompanied by her daughter Lady Louise. For the gloomy day, the Duchess recycled her chic green maxi skirt from Alberta Ferretti.
Sophie opted to rewear her floaty forest green skirt by Alberta Ferretti, which used to retail for £855 on Farfetch.
The Duchess combined the stylish skirt with a burgundy top and an oversized brown jacket. A pair of beige chunky boots finished the royal’s country chic outfit.
For today’s occasion, Sophie styled her hair in an effortless low bun and wore a gold necklace and matching earrings.
Sophie previously wore this skirt during a visit to a manufacturing plant in Uttoxeter last year.

The royal also chose the garment for a visit to the Guide Dogs Reading Hub Facility last year, but back then she opted to combine it with a black turtleneck top and black blazer, looking absolutely fabulous.
The Alberta Ferretti high-waisted pleated midi skirt featured a wrap design, pleat detailing, slip pockets to the sides and gold-tone hardware.
The sophisticated Italian style brand, “renowned for its elegant draping and tucking techniques”, takes inspiration from nature for its elegant designs, including Sophie’s forest green maxi skirt.
The Duchess was photographed at the Royal Windsor Horse Show today balancing on stones while crossing a river in her elegant equestrian outfit.
Sophie attended day one of the Royal Windsor Horse Show in Windsor Castle earlier this week when she also recycled one of her favourite dresses, the Floral-Print Cap-Sleeve Midi Shirtdress from Giambattista Valli.
On the first day at the equestrian show, the Duchess wore a beige raincoat over her print dress and thick black leather boots.
On the opening of the annual show, Sophie watched her daughter Lady Louise perform, but the young royal was spotted enjoying the event with her mum on the second day.
