SAN DIEGO —
A SWAT team was called to the Nestor community on Saturday after a man involved in an armed disturbance barricaded himself in a home, San Diego police said.
Officials released few details about the incident, saying only that it involved a gun and was reported about 10:50 a.m. on Clairton Place near Oakden Drive.
Officers who responded to the call spent two hours trying to get the man to come out of the home, and when he did not, a SWAT Team and crisis negotiators were called in, police said. Other individuals made it out of the residence safely.
