SAN DIEGO —
A man died after he was hit by a northbound Coaster train in San Diego’s Mission Hills neighborhood Wednesday night, officials said.
The collision occurred at 7:55 p.m. near the intersection of Noell and Kurtz streets, said sheriff’s Sgt. Jason King of the sheriff’s Transit Enforcement Unit.
Paramedics responded but the man died before he could be taken to a hospital.
The sheriff’s transit enforcement unit will be in charge of investigating the collision.
