Rapper Post Malone has helped a singer from Glasgow to buy a house.
Gregor Hunter Coleman’s life changed after his performance at a bar in the city centre.
After finishing his set at Glasgow’s Wunderbar, the singer was called over to meet Malone who had gone there after finishing his gig at Glasgow’s Hydro arena.
On Monday, Coleman shared a post on Instagram with the 27-year-old rapper.
The caption said: “Never thought whilst heading out the door with my guitar on Friday night for my gig at @wunderbarglasgow that I’d meet @postmalone and have such a life changing experience.
“The hours spent with this gent chatting and jamming was life changing in itself, not to mention what followed.
“This could be my time to hit the ground running.”
The two were pictured sitting side by side in the picture after the gig.
Coleman later spoke of his “amazing” experience on Capital FM Scotland after his encounter with the US rapper.
He said he had finished his set and managed to speak to Malone even though there were a lot of people trying to get a glimpse and pictures with the rapper.
‘That was amazing’
“Basically I finished my set, went over and managed to speak to him and, meanwhile, loads of folk were crowding round and trying to get a photo with him and meet him and he called me through so the security took me through, he shook my hand and gave me a hug and he was like ‘that was amazing!’,” he added.
Coleman said he and Malone made their way to a more private bar and he was later asked to sing with the him.
“Then they were going round to Kong, to a more private bar, and he asked me to go round to sing with him and I was like ‘of course yeah!’ and he then asked me how much I would charge to sing with him, and I was like, ‘well nothing because you’re Post Malone!’.
Malone then offered the singer “financial help” to go and sing with him.
Coleman said he thought it was “crazy” after he told the rapper he was currently trying to save for a house.
“And I couldn’t believe it, so he offered me financial help to go and sing with him which I thought was crazy because I was telling him I was saving for a house, so he helped me out with that, which was just crazy! So I was round singing songs with him for hours.”
Presenter Fat Brestovci then asked what he meant by financial help, saying: “Did he buy you a house?”
And Gregor replied: “Well I’ve got a deposit there, put it that way, which is crazy, at first I didn’t believe him!”
