NORTH COUNTY —
A man was stabbed multiple times, and another man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a fight in Solana Beach early Wednesday morning, sheriff’s officials said.
The attack was reported after an argument between two men turned violent around 2:30 a.m. on Corto Street near South Granados Avenue, said Sgt. Tom Fletcher.
Deputies found the wounded man at the scene, and he was taken to a hospital in critical condition, Fletcher said. He was expected to survive.
The alleged stabber — a 21-year-old man — ran into a nearby home, officials said. Investigators quickly located the man and arrested him.
The incident is under investigation.
