A passenger on a plane was set in not budging from her seat and her decision to remain planted in it as well.
And it had everything to do with the convenience that comes with that particular plane seat.
The TikToker, who was asked to give up her 1A plane seat during a flight, has sparked a heated debate on the app concerning flight etiquette.
On July 20, TikTok user @lifewithdrsabra posted a video of the incident, with the caption, “POV: Flight agent asks me if I want to give up my 1A seat so a child sits with their family.”

Seat 1A is in the first row of an airplane and is typically in first class, making it a desirable seat.
The TikToker declined to move from her seat, revealing that the family found a different solution to sit together.
She mentioned that the teenager ended up in seat 2A, across from their family, and that the gate agent respected her decision not to switch seats without causing any issues.
Commenting on the video one person said: “As a mom, I’m on your side. If they wanted to sit together they should have made sure the seats were together.”
Another said: “I wonder if some families actually on purpose buy the cheapest tickets, to plan to ask someone for their seat. ‘I got kids, please move’.”
