Spider-Man fans are about to get the opportunity of a lifetime this Autumn, as Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is getting the orchestral treatment for the first time in the UK. The movie, which won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2019, is going on tour beginning in October, 2023, with a live orchestra in some of the country’s biggest venues.
Daniel Pemberton, who is best known for the soundtracks for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Ocean’s 8, Steve Jobs and Molly’s game, said of the monumental event: “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is one of my favourite scores I’ve ever written. Utilising a full orchestra, crazy electronics and unbelievable turntable scratching techniques amongst a million other things, it is so technically complex I never thought we’d ever be able to actually reproduce it live, but somehow, we have.” (sic)
Tickets for the orchestral event come out at the end of the week – but there is a small window to grab presale tickets tomorrow. But act fast, they will not hang around for long.

The highly anticipated sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is titled Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and is due to hit cinemas this year on June 2, 2023.
The first trailer for the movie – which can be seen at the top of this article – showed off Spider-Man (Miles Morales) being hunted down by Spider-Man 2099 and an infinite amount of other Spidey heroes from across time and space.
This story is so massive that it has been split across two pictures, with a second sequel, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, hitting cinemas on March 29, 2024.
