Optical illusion enthusiasts could find out whether they stand on the sensitive or creative end of the personality spectrum thanks to one mind-bending image.
The mind test comes from the ever-popular TikToker psychology Love (psychologylove100), whose posts have garnered the interest of more than 325,000 followers.
People’s approach to solving the brainteaser could speak volumes about their personalities and determine whether they are creative or logical by nature, the TikToker argues.
The mind-twisting picture depicts two green crocodiles or a yellow bird, and was shared with the message: “Discover your true personality”.
“What you see first will reveal a very specific aspect of your personality,” The narrator explained. “If you see crocodiles first, it indicates that are a very sensitive and creative person.”
“You are able to see beauty in simple things, and are often inspired by your surroundings.”
People in this category tend to be imaginative by nature and take on an innovative approach to solving any problem thrown their way, explained the TikToker.
He added that they are also “drawn to the arts, music, and literature” and are “able to see beauty in things that are often overlooked by others”.
Those who look at the picture from a different angle and see a bird first, are more likely to have interests in logical affairs, the psychologist explained.
“If on the contrary, you saw the bird first, then this indicates that you are an extremely observant and analytical person,” explained the narrator.
“You have a keen mind and are able to see the finer details in things. You are also very perceptive and able to understand things quickly.
“You are drawn to science mathematics and logic, and are able to solve things problems effectively.”
Like other psychologists, the TikToker argues that mind-twisting imagery can provide insights into a person’s personality traits.
Often, eyes are drawn to a particular color, shape, figure, or shadow first, which reveals key information about how the brain processes visual information.
What the brain focuses on first could be tied to key elements of a person’s psyche and speak volumes about their thought process, it is claimed.
