NORTH COUNTY —
At least one person was killed in a fiery traffic collision in San Pasqual Valley on Sunday, San Diego police said.
Police responded to San Pasqual Road near Sunset Hills around 1:40 p.m. after receiving a report of a two-vehicle collision on the road, Officer John Buttle said.
When officers arrived, they found two vehicles fully engulfed in flames, Buttle said. At least one person was pronounced dead at the scene. At least one other person suffered serious injuries, he said.
The incident is under investigation.
