This comes after the coffee chain has closed and opened stores across the country this year.
The Bruntsfield Place location in Edinburgh will cease trading on February 14, 2024, according to the retail chain.
After this date, Costa fans will have to visit nearby locations for a drink, and there are plenty of them.
The British chain has already closed several locations this year, including North Street, Brighton, Oakham Church Street, East Midlands, Church Street Malvern and West Bridgford.
A Costa Coffee spokesperson said: “We can confirm that our Costa Coffee store on Bruntsfield Place will close its doors for trade on February 14, 2024.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Customers can continue to enjoy their favourite Costa Coffee at our nearby store on Morningside Road.”
The news comes after the coffee chain closed nine sites in 2023, including the branch in Malvern, Worcestershire, on November 17.
Costa branches that have already closed this year:
- Coliseum retail park in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire – June 3
- Welch Way, Witney – June 5
- Wigan town centre – June 25
- Five Rise shopping centre, Bingley – July 9
- High Street, Worcester – July (relocated September 15)
- Lowestoft’s North Quay retail park – July 23 (refurbishment)
- Church Street, Oakham – September 15
- West Bridgford, near Nottingham – September 22
However, it’s not all bad news for Costa fans as many stores have shut temporarily for refurbishments as well as new stores.
Last month, the chain opened branches inside supermarket Tesco in Chichester Fishbourne and Ashford Crooksfoot.
Costa also invested heavily in its drive-thru options in the UK, putting millions into expanding them last year. They have now reached more than 300 across the country to help Britons get their coffee fix on the go.
If visiting a chain anything soon, make sure to try their festive menu options which include orange hot chocolates as well as sticky toffee flavoured beverages.
Costa Coffee is also introducing a roasted hazel latte and hot chocolate this year which are filled with roasted hazelnut syrup and topped with cream and mini gold stars.
Prices for the sticky toffee and roasted hazel drinks start from £3.95.
Costa is also bringing back their gingerbread and cream latte which is available from £3.95. The iconic drink includes a complimentary mini gingerbread biscuit on the side.
Costa fans will also be delighted to know that the black forest and cream hot chocolate is also back this year.
