Embrace are one of the most iconic bands of the ’90s, and they’re keen to revisit where it all started this year.
Beginning in November, the British band will be venturing out on an enormous 13-date tour where they’ll play their debut album, The Good Will Out, in full – as well as some of their greatest hits from the last 20 years.
When The Good Will Out hit store shelves in 1998 it became one of the fastest-selling debut albums from a British artist of all time. Certified gold on the day of release, it quickly hit number one in the UK Album Charts (and grabbed a platinum certification before the end of the year, as well).
Since then, the band have achieved three number-one albums, six top-ten singles, and sold more than two million records.
Speaking about the upcoming nostalgia tour, frontman Danny McNamara said: “I can’t believe it’s been 25 years since we released our debut album, but what’s even more amazing is that it still resonates with so many people after all this time. The Piece Hall show was one of the best gigs we’ve ever played, and one of the best nights of my life. It’s going to be amazing to take this show out on the road for the first time, we can’t wait.”
Tickets come out at the end of the week, but you can nab presale tickets right now if you know where to look – here’s the information you need:
Embrace are holding one presale event – and it’s pretty limited. It comes directly from O2 Priority and kicked off today, Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 9am – but there is a catch.
These tickets will only be available to Embrace fans who are also subscribed to the O2 mobile phone network. Through the Priority service, fans can get their presale tickets right now, but only at certified venues such as O2 Academies and London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
