SAN DIEGO —
A fiery rollover crash on state Route 52 near Tierrasanta sent one person to the hospital Tuesday, according to Fire Department officials.
The crash was reported around 4:25 p.m. on the westbound freeway near Santo Road when at least two vehicles collided , according to the California Highway Patrol incident log.
A witness reported that a car flipped over, and at least one car caught fire, the online log reads.
Mónica Muñoz, a Fire Department spokesperson, said firefighters arrived on the scene and took one patient to a hospital.
Crews then extinguished the car fire.
No other details were immediately available.
