The legendary American Idiots, Green Day, just confirmed the release date of their new album.
Saviors will be their 14th studio album, following 2020’s Father of All Motherf*****s.
The record’s release date has been confirmed to be released on January 19, 2024 – but that’s not all.
Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool also dropped their first single from the album: The American Dream Is Killing Me.
This vicious single is aimed at today’s bleak state of society, while the music video takes aim at the zombification of humanity. But, although it was dropped as the record’s first single, it was actually the last song the band recorded for Saviors.
Armstrong said: “As soon we cut it, we said: ‘Okay, that’s going first.'” He added that the track is a “look at the way the traditional American Dream doesn’t work for a lot of people – in fact, it’s hurting a lot of people”. (Via Kerrang)
If that wasn’t enough, the band have since announced a massive world-spanning tour – including some dates in Europe and the UK.

Green Day just posted on their Twitter account that today, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, is the last chance fans have to get involved in their presale event.
They wrote: “UK & Europe If you haven’t already GO GO GO pre-order ‘Saviors’ to get first access to tickets to The Saviors Tour during the pre-sale starting at 9:30 GMT / 10:30 CET on Wednesday, 8th November.
“The cut off to sign up is TOMORROW (Tuesday, 7th November) @ 3pm GMT. Codes will be sent tomorrow @ 5pm GMT.” (sic)
After the presale event has come to an end, the general onsale tickets will be released. Here’s everything you need to know:

When do Green Day Tickets come out?
Green Day tickets will be released on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 9:30am.
These tickets will be available to every single fan who wants to purchase them, so act fast if you want to get involved.
