A driver who crashed head-on into a sedan early Sunday suffered a broken leg in the Mountain View neighborhood, San Diego police said.
A 32-year-old man driving a Dodge Challenger west on Logan Avenue attempted to make a left turn onto Dominion Street and slammed into the front of a BMW sedan heading east on Logan around 2:30 a.m., Officer Sarah Foster said in a news release.
The driver of the BMW, a 22-year-old man, was not injured, police said.
The driver of the Dodge was taken to a hospital with a fractured femur, Foster said.
Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash. Police did not specify which driver was thought to be impaired.
