Sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found shot in the head in his Ramona apartment last week, officials said.
Eduardo Aguilar Alba, 26, was found by his brother around 5:05 p.m. Friday in the apartment on 16th Street near Main Street, Lt. Joseph Jarjura said in a news release. When deputies went inside, they found Alba dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
The county Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death was homicide, Jarjura said.
The motivation and circumstances for the shooting are still unclear, investigators said.
The incident is under investigation.
