The first British monarch to be crowned in 70 years, King Charles III’s Coronation will take place on Saturday. As with any major royal event, fashion will be a hot topic of discussion. In light of this, bookmakers have predicted Kate Middleton is more likely to wear blue to the Coronation than red, another colour she enjoys wearing.
OLBG has shared the bookies’ odds with Express.co.uk, including Kate’s anticipated dress colour and potential celebrity attendees.
The Princess of Wales informed This Morning host Alison Hammond that “there is a hint of blue” in her dress during the royal couple’s April visit to Birmingham.
According to the most recent betting odds, Kate will wear blue to the Coronation. Bookmakers now have the colour as the 4/6 favourite.
Nigel Skinner, the Current Affairs Betting Expert at OLBG, told Express.co.uk: “Bookies now say there’s a 60 percent chance that Kate Middleton’s dress is blue.

“Reports back in April suggested that Middleton has alluded to a ‘hint of blue’ in her dress!”
The second most likely colour for Kate to wear at the Coronation is green, according to betting experts.
With odds at 9/2, Kate has an 18.2 percent chance of wearing green at the historic royal ceremony.
In joint third place, Kate has a 14.3 percent chance of wearing either red or pink at the Coronation, with odds at 6/1.
“A carefully curated togetherness. But safe and non-ostentatious like them – not giving too much away.
“Blue represents authority (blue blood etc), trust, intelligence and loyalty. A lot of politicians wear navy suits when they are delivering important speeches and messages.
“It’s often the colour I choose for my clients who are high up in the industry and want to exude power but not in an aloof way like black can.
“This all reminds me so much of Princess Diana who wore clothes to such a powerful effect. Clothes can subtlely say so much.”
