VALLEY CENTER —
A 31-year-old man was arrested Saturday on suspicion of attempted murder after another man was shot multiple times last week in Valley Center.
Kyle Del Gregory, of Valley Center, was arrested after a shooting occurred around 1 p.m. on Mendoza Road on the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians reservation, according to Lt. Joseph Jarjura.
When officers arrived at the scene they found a 46-year-old man wounded. He was taken to a hospital by helicopter.
A rifle was recovered at the scene, Jarjura said.
Del Gregory was booked into the Vista Jail on multiple allegations including attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
No other information was immediately available.
