A 34-year-old man was found dead of a gunshot wound early Sunday morning inside a vehicle at the corner of College Boulevard and Olive Drive in Oceanside, according to an Oceanside Police Department news release.
Detectives from the department’s crimes of violence unit are investigating the incident, the news release said. The man was discovered at 2:05 a.m, according to the release.
The victim’s identity was being withheld pending notification of his family, the release said.
