A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries during a crash in the Talmadge neighborhood of San Diego on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
A 32-year-old man riding a 2022 Kawasaki motorcycle south on Fairmont Avenue near Aldine Drive lost control of the bike about 4:45 p.m. Saturday, ejecting him and his 21-year-old female passenger, Officer John Buttle said in a news release.
Paramedics rushed the man, who was suffering from an open fracture to his leg, to a hospital. His passenger, who sustained abrasions to her hands and lower back, was also transported.
Neither person’s injuries were considered life threatening and police said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
San Diego police asked anyone with information regarding the crash to call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
