The suspenseful thriller, Holland, is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video soon and has been touted by the streaming giant as “wildly unpredictable”. The plot revolves around a teacher in a small midwestern town who begins to suspect her husband of leading a double life.
Unbeknownst to her, the reality of the situation is far worse than she could have imagined, throwing everything she thought she knew into chaos. The concept first made its appearance on the Black List in 2013 but was put on hold – until now. In the movie, Nancy Vandergroot, a high school home economics teacher in the town of Holland, grows suspicious that her optometrist husband, Fred, is cheating on her. She enlists the help of the school’s shop teacher, Dave Delgado, to aid her in investigating him.
With no concrete evidence to support her suspicions, viewers are left guessing about what is truly fuelling her conviction that Fred is being unfaithful. While the original script was set in contemporary times, the revised version takes place in the year 2000. Here’s everything you need to know about the release date, cast, storyline, and more.
