SAN DIEGO —
One person was hurt after a vehicle crashed into a dog grooming business in a San Carlos strip mall late Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The crash happened about 10:45 a.m., San Diego police Sgt. Ariel Savage said. He did not know what happened to cause the car to go into the building, on Mission Gorge Road near Jackson Drive.
San Diego Fire-Rescue Department officials said an employee of the business was taken to a hospital via ambulance. Police said the injury was considered minor.
The driver was able to get out of the car on their own.
San Diego Gas & Electric crews shut down gas and power to the business.
