One person was wounded during a shooting at a park in Clairemont on Tuesday and investigators are still searching for a gunman, San Diego police said.
The shooting was reported around 8:20 p.m. after witnesses heard multiple gunshots at the North Clairemont Recreation Center on Bannock Ave near Genesee Avenue, according to Officer John Buttle.
The victim was taken to a hospital, Buttle said. The gunman fled the scene.
No other information about the shooting was released.
The incident is under investigation.
Earlier this year, César Eduardo López-Sandoval, 22, was fatally shot on Feb. 19 at the same park.
Detectives said López-Sandoval had a brief fight with two other men, before one pulled out a handgun and shot him several times, police said.
A 19-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy were arrested two months later in connection with the fatal shooting.
