A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle near SeaWorld San Diego Tuesday night, San Diego police said.
The man was seen dancing in the eastbound lane of Sea World Drive east of West Mission Bay Drive shortly before 9 p.m., police said. A driver in a Honda Fit struck the person soon after.
The impact sent the pedestrian into another lane where he was then hit by a driver in a Toyota Camry, police said. After the collision, a driver in a minivan rear-ended the Camry.
The pedestrian died before he could be taken to a hospital.
Police said driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs was not a factor in the collision, which remains under investigation. No other information was released.
