A white Subaru Soltero, driven be a 51-year-old San Diego man, struck the pedestrian about 11:45 p.m. north of Old Town Avenue, CHP Officer Salvador Castro said.
The injured man suffered major injuries and died before he could be taken to a hospital, Castro said. The man’s name will be withheld until his family is notified.
