Prince William always looks handsome and dapper during royal appearances, however over the years he has experienced quite a lot of hair loss. Leading globally recognised trichologist and Nioxin ambassador Mark Blake spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about the Prince’s balding and the only way he would be able to see a “full head of hair”.
Mark told Express.co.uk: “Prince William has lost all his hair on the top of his head and took the decision several years ago to shave the last few straggly bits off.”
According to the expert, the Prince’s hair loss is too far gone for one major method.
Indeed, he said: “Prince William does not have enough donor hair at the back of his head to have a hair transplant.”

Should the Prince want to rectify his hair loss, however, there are other avenues he can go down.
Mark said: “His only options now are scalp micro pigmentation (SMP) which is when tiny little dots are tattooed onto the scalp to make him look like he has very short hair on the top of his head, or a hair system which would a glued onto the top of his head giving him a full head of hair.”
The expert also recommended a top product the royal could use to combat thinning hair.
He said: “If there’s one product I would recommend it would be NIOXIN’s Anti Hair-Loss Serum.
“This is a hair loss reduction serum that is clinically proven to reduce hair loss by 20 percent in only eight weeks.
“After many years in development, the scientists at Nioxin believe they have a completely unique hair loss reduction formula, containing Sandalore (a synthetic Sandalwood fragrance), Caffeine, Lauric Acid, and Niacinamide.”

According to scientific research, the scent from sandalore (the synthetic version of sandalwood) can be smelt by the olfactory receptors in hair follicles.
He explained: “The Sandalore™ scent, stimulates the hair follicles and as a result prolongs hair growth.
“The time it takes for hair to fall is delayed, which means hair loss is reduced.”
Mark also commented on Prince Harry’s notable – yet less severe – hair loss, saying that he “predicts Harry has around 18 months left before he will need to shave his hair off because it is so thin on top now”.
He suggested Harry “act now to preserve what he’s got left”, using a hair loss prevention routine.
“His options are Minoxidil (a topical solution applied daily to slow down hair loss) or to take a privately prescribed medication called finasteride, in some cases this taken early enough, may reverse the hair loss.
“After six months of treatment his hair should have stabilised, giving him the choice of how to wear his hair.”
Mark concluded that Harry would have the option to enhance his locks with a hair transplant to thicken the top part of his hair.

Renowned hair expert and founder of Inanch London previously spoke to Express.co.uk about the “amazing” change Harry could make to his look – but it’s “too obvious” for William.
