This dress was very reminiscent of a lacy dress Princess Kate wore back in 2017 at Royal Ascot.
Beatrice’s super elegant floral dress, which fell to just above her ankles, nipped in her fabulous waist in a very feminine way.
The royal paired her Self-Portrait dress with the Alice and Olivia ‘Zeta’ Chain Cropped Jacket.
She carried the Anya Hindmarch Postbox Lizard-Effect Leather Tote in White/Navy.
For the perfect complement to her pale blue dress, Beatrice wore pointed-toe shoes in the exact same colour. These were the Ralph & Russo Empire Pale Blue Suede Pumps.
The Princess wore her hair up in a loose, messy ponytail. Her makeup base was dewy, and she wore a pop of pink lipstick. Her striking eyes were highlighted with some black eyeliner. Beatrice completed the look with some statement diamond earrings.
Royal fans absolutely loved Beatrice’s latest ensemble, commenting on a photo of her and husband Edo at the event. On Instagram, @ducktricia said: “Even though I’m not usually a fan of lace… I’m absolutely loving with this look! I find every piece is gorgeous and they also look great together.”
While Beatrice did look absolutely stunning, she may have had some style inspiration for this look. Indeed, in June 2017, Princess Kate wore a very similar dress, a white lacy number by Alexander McQueen.
Kate dazzled as she stepped out at Royal Ascot on June 20, 2017. Like Beatrice’s dress, Kate’s was floral, covered from top to bottom in floral patterns.
A simple satin ribbon belt nipped Kate in at the waist in the same way Beatrice’s Self-Portrait dress did.
Like Beatrice, Kate opted for some pointed-toe high heels. However, these were in beige rather than blue.
Kate finished off the look with a marvellously intricate white fascinator, complete with lace, ribbon and floral embellishments.
