Princess Eugenie announced on social media today that she and her husband Jack Brooksbank have welcomed their second child into the world.
The 33-year-old Princess wrote: “Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank on 30th May 2023 at 8.49 weighing 7.1lbs.
“He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald. Augie is loving being a big brother already.”
“Augie” refers to August Brooksbank, Eugenie’s first child who was born in February 2021 and is now two years old.
In the two photographs which Eugenie shared on Instagram, the two-year-old looked fabulous in a green and white striped T-shirt from Zara Kids.

The T-shirt costs £6.99 and is described as a “round neck T-shirt with short sleeves and a chest patch pocket”.
The garment from the popular high-street shop is sold out in sizes two years to six years, however, it is still available to buy for children aged 24 months and under.
August, who has short curly brown hair, could be seen standing over a cot with his younger brother Ernest sleeping inside.
In one picture, Ernest appeared to be wearing a light blue cap with a white hem, but in the second picture, he wore a plain white cotton night cap.
Eugenie and Jack began dating in 2010 and tied the knot eight years later in 2018.
The Princess of York walked down the aisle with her father Prince Andrew at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
Since their wedding, the couple have lived in Ivy Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace.
Eugenie showed her love for her family home by incorporating ivy motifs into her wedding dress.
The Princess’s bridal gown consisted of white jacquard silk and incorporated the York rose, which refers to her parents’ titles, and also a thistle to show her love for Balmoral Castle.
In addition, the dress featured a shamrock which gave a nod to Sarah Ferguson’s Irish ancestry and finally an ivy, which symbolised their home.
Throughout the last two years, it has been reported that Eugenie and Jack have occasionally lived at Frogmore Cottage since its former tenants Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to California.
But it is understood that the couple now live in Ivy Cottage full-time and this will be where August and Ernest are expected to grow up.
