Princess Kate never fails to impress when it comes to fashion and today’s appearance was no different, as she sported a bright red jacket and a new up do hairstyle.
The royal stepped out in Sittingbourne as she joined a Portage Session for her ‘Shaping Us’ campaign on early childhood. Portage is a service which supports children with disabilities and special educational needs and their families.
Kate has been wearing a lot of suits lately for a very interesting reason but today she went for a red blazer, cream top and black trousers.
The pop of red was super eye-catching and totally suited the Princess. The blazer, by popular high street clothing retailer Zara, boasted structured shoulders and military-style gold buttons. It was the Red Textured Double-Breasted Blazer.
The piece was slim-fit rather than oversized, and Kate left it unbuttoned for a relaxed daytime look. The thrifty Princess has worn the blazer before.
Underneath her blazer Kate went for a thick cream top complete with a round neck, perfect for autumn.
She tucked this into her high-waisted trousers which nipped in her tiny waist. The classic black trousers were cigarette style and showed off the Princess’ slim legs.
Princess Kate has stepped out over the years in countless extravagant, lavish garments. However, she intersperses these pieces with ones non-royals can afford too.
Kate wore her hair in an elegant braided bun which suited her face beautifully. A few strands framed her face on either side, showcasing her honey-blonde highlights.
Kate went for a classic daytime makeup look, complete with blusher, dark smokey eyes and pink lips.
Royal fans took to Instagram to praise the royal’s latest look. @paulabfbaptista said: “I liked it. Not as formal as a pantsuit, but still appropriate.”
@lina245 made an interesting observation: “I think she’s deliberately steering towards single colour palette like the Late Queen did; in her own way though and more modern. I think it’s nice, she seems to be reserving the wow factor for evening dresses.”
