Last year, Baz Luhrmann’s Oscar-nominated Elvis Presley biopic was released to positive reviews and box office success.
And now we’re getting another one based on the autobiography of The King’s ex-wife called Elvis and Me.
Priscilla Presley, who met the star aged 14 when he was on his army service in Germany, was married to him from 1967 until their divorce in 1973.
The couple lived at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee where their only child Lisa Marie, who tragically died at 54 in January, was raised for the first years of her life.
Sofia Coppola has written and directed the new A24 movie, Priscilla, which has its first teaser trailer today.

Priscilla stars Cailee Spaeny (Bad Times at the El Royale, Pacific Rim) in the title role opposite Jacob Elordi (The Kissing Booth, Euphoria) as Elvis himself, following on from Austin Butler who was Oscar-nominated for the role this year.
Speaking previously with Variety the real Priscilla, 78, said of Jacob: “Yes, you know, he’s a great actor, a great actor.”
Priscilla went on to add that Jacob was no doubt worried about playing Elvis. She said: “I can only imagine him being a nervous wreck… like everyone else is!”
On Coppola writing and directing, she added: “I love Sofia and I love her film work… I really think, I think it will be fine… I hope!”
Priscilla’s release date is “Coming Soon”.
