Queen Camilla looked stunning today as she stepped out in a turquoise coat dress in Bordeaux for her last day in France.
But it was the brooch the Queen chose to compliment her look that caught everyone’s attention.
The royal has chosen to wear the accessory two more times since becoming Queen Consort to King Charles.
In 2022, Camilla paired the brooch with a navy blue Anna Valentine coat and a Philip Treacy hat on Christmas Day. She finished off the look with a pair of coordinating leather gloves.
The Queen used the brooch again to enhance her mint green Anna Valentine dress during the Royal Ascot in 2023. She paired the look with another Philip Treacy hat.
The rectangular piece is separated into four triangle-shaped quadrants, with a square gem in the middle.
And whilst the eye-catching accessory has been stealing the show in every one of her appearances, its origins are still unknown.
Ascot had previously tweeted that the brooch once belonged to Queen Elizabeth II, although some fans have suggested it could have been a wedding gift from Queen Mary to her daughter-in-law Princess Marina of Greece, the Duchess of Kent.
The King and Queen arrived in France on Wednesday for their three-day state visit which included stops in Paris in Bordeaux.
Bordeaux was chosen as a stop for the tour due to its home to a large number of ex-pats.
The tour was postponed in March due to pension reform protests.
