Queen Camilla and King Charles attended the Animal Ball at Lancaster House last night to mark the 20th anniversary of the wildlife conversation charity Elephant Family.
For the occasion, the Queen chose a beautiful blue tunic and trousers – believed to be new and designed bespoke by Anna Valentine – with silver embellishments.
What looked like a dress was made up of a long midi tunic over a pair of wide-leg satin trousers which at times fell into the shape of a maxi skirt.
The tunic was in the Queen’s signature shape; long sleeves, collarless but with a short V-neck. There was a small slit up the front and it was embellished in silver detail.
The trousers underneath were in the same shade of blue, but the fabric was not adorned with silver embellishment.
For shoes, the Queen wore a pair of silver and white satin ballet pumps with silver embellishments.
For jewellery, she went all out with her white gold and diamond Van Cleef & Arpels clip-on three motif earrings from the Magic Alhambra collection which cost a whopping £46,900.
Her earrings are one of many Van Cleef & Arpels pieces she owns – her collection is worth over £80,000.
She also wore a silver necklace which several pendants hanging from the chain. Pictured was her Apollo Mini Blue Topaz and Diamond Pendant in Yellow Gold, priced at £2,300, and her Gold Plate Pandent with a Ruby (her July birth stone) centre stone and five initials of her grandchildren from her first marriage: Lola, Freddy, Eliza, Louis and Gus.”
As like every other day, she also wore her Van Cleef & Arpels Vintage Alhambra 5 Motifs 18k Yellow Gold and Agate Bracelet.
King Charles, on the other hand, dressed according to the event with a blue pinstripe suit, pink shirt and an elephant brooch on his lapel.
