San Diego Gas & Electric recently wrapped up a transaction with a real estate group to lease a 3.9-acre property in Miramar to store electrical equipment.
The site on Dowdy Drive comprises nearly 170,000 square feet and features a fenced and secured yard, a warehouse, trailer yard and outdoor storage, according to investment management company Colliers Brokers.
The site’s landlord in Lincoln Property Group. Terms of the lease have not been disclosed.
“This property offers flexibility in tenant utilization in a rare, uniquely centralized location with immediate access to all major highways,” Colliers executive vice president Evan McDonald said in a statement, adding that the deal “speaks to the continued demand for yard space in central San Diego infill markets.”
The site is one block off Miramar Road, a high-volume traffic area where more than 52,000 cars pass by each day.
