On the heels of a Houston courthouse wedding and a lavish ceremony in Mexico, NFL star Jonathan Owens and gymnastics legend Simone Biles have established a new connection to Wisconsin!
Specifically, Owens recently revealed that he signed with the Green Bay Packers.

Jonathan Owens & Simone Biles Are Celebrating This “New Beginning”
Owens shared the news via Instagram on Friday. The photo showed him and Simone rocking some Packers’ merch as he signed his new contract.
As he’s headed up to Wisconsin from Texas, he was sure to give a shoutout to the state’s most well-known product: cheese!
“New beginnings. Perfect cap to an amazing week. Let’s get to work [cheese emoj]. Year 6 on the way.”
Biles posted about the decision on her page as well, and she humorously noted, “Slight wedding content intermission to say GO PACK GO.”
“So proud of you baby! Here’s to new beginnings! year 6! LFG!”
While the particulars of Owens’ new deal are currently unclear, it looks like he and Biles are psyched about the decision!
They Went From Wedding Plans To Wisconsin Moves REAL Quick!
As Simone Biles noted in her upload, this exciting development follows her and Jonathan Owens tying the knot.
They legally married at a Houston courthouse last month, though that wasn’t the end of their wedding festivities.

Earlier this week, the newlyweds headed down to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to celebrate their love with a ceremony, as The Shade Room previously reported.
While speaking to Vogue about her Cabo ceremony, Biles remarked that she was more “nervous” than ever before.
“I actually felt so sick the entire day, and when it was almost time to walk, my heart was beating out of my chest. I’ve never been so nervous before in my life.”
However, confidence took over when the time came, and she called the event “beautiful and dreamy.”
“I felt confident walking down the aisle. Seeing Jonathan at the altar was a dream. Our guests were cheering for everyone. I was shocked by the love in the air. The ceremony was so beautiful and dreamy!”
