Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, 58, is one of the most stylish members of the Royal Family, especially when it comes to her accessories.
According to the royal fashion social media page @Remisagoodboy, the Duchess of Edinburgh owns at least 74 Sophie Habsburg handbags, the latest one making an appearance during the King’s Coronation.
Style expert Susie Nelson, the founder of Modes and More, spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk to explain why the Duchess of Edinburgh loves this brand so much.
She said: “Sophie Habsburg bags have become something of a trademark choice for her royal namesake, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, who has many in her collection.
“I think she likes them for several reasons; they are interesting with unusual and quirky details, are a good size and have a sensible and accessible price point.”

Duchess Sophie has a teenage daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, aged 19, who may inherit her mother’s handbag collection one day, according to the expert.
Susie claimed: “She may in time pass them over to Lady Louise, but I believe Lady Louise has already started her own collection.
“At the Jubilee celebration at St Paul’s last year, the mother and daughter were carrying the same bag in different colours – the Classic Lunatic bicolour clutch that is half suede and half leather.”
Celebrity stylist and royal expert Leroy Dawkins also spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk to explain why Sophie Habsburg is the Duchess’s “go-to brand”.
He claimed: “Sophie Habsburg bags and clutches are a go-to brand for the newly titled Duchess of Edinburgh, who’s normally seen carrying one on official engagements.
“It is easy to see why the Duchess has a liking for Sophie Habsburg bags which offer a selection of clutch, shoulder, basket bags and accessories with unique and edgy designs.
“When you look at the Pouff bag shoulder bag you can’t help but fall in look with its playfulness which will help bring out the best of any outfit.”
Leroy also pointed out that the designer Sophie Habsburg has an aristocratic background, which the Duchess of Edinburgh may be able to relate to.
He continued: “Sophie Habsburg bags have heritage and not only is she a designer, but she is also known as Archduchess Sophie of Austria – a French-born Italian designer, and German aristocrat.”
Lady Louise currently has her own growing handbag collection, but Leroy argues that the older she gets, the more likely it is that she’ll borrow her mother’s accessories.
He suggested: “Like most luxury brands, you are buying quality items which are made to last.
“I can see in the future when the Duchess’s daughter Lady Louise Windsor hits the social circles of London and even engagements she will possibly dip into her mother’s collection of Habsburg bags.”
