When SZA briefly acknowledged Brazilian butt lifts (BBLs) during the first track on her SOS project, she seemingly bared all and got fans buzzin’ online.
Now, the artist is providing solid confirmation about her BBL — and she’s letting it be known that the decision to go under the knife was all hers and NOT the result of outside pressures.

SZA Acknowledges She “Always Wanted A Really Fat A** With Less Gym Time”
During an interview with Elle published on Wednesday, SZA began to speak on her derriere and proclaimed that she treats it “like a purse.” After all, she declares, “It’s just there to enhance whatever else.”
Taking the discussion one step further, the 33-year-old admitted, “And that’s why I paid for it. Because it works all by itself.” Oop!
However, the candid conversation didn’t stop there, as the “Seek & Destroy” artist noted that rather than “succumb[ing] to industry pressure,” the decision was all hers.
“I always wanted a really fat a** with less gym time. I didn’t succumb to industry pressure.”
Humorously, she added, “I succumbed to my own eyes in the mirror and being like, ‘No, I need some more a**.’”
While fame didn’t have anything to do with her getting plastic surgery, SZA does note that it has impacted another aspect of her life. Specifically, she spoke on the anxiety of living in the limelight.
“Some people think that, like, me having anxiety or me being shy or struggling with self-esteem is an act. I’m just, dead-a**, a person. Everybody else has feelings and fears. Why wouldn’t I be scared to be famous?”
Amid SZA’s Plastic Surgery Commentary, Blac Chyna Takes A Different Route
While SZA embraces her plastic surgery journey, another star — Blac Chyna — is going about reversing her cosmetic procedures.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Blac Chyna (aka Angela White) revealed she had a breast and butt reduction earlier this year.
She didn’t end there, as Blac Chyna also removed her face fillers and spoke out against the procedure.

Eventually, she addressed how “insecurities” she picked up while working as a stripper led her to turn to plastic surgery as a teen, as she felt “pressure” to “build” her body.
