Ike Turner, Jr. was arrested and charged with crack cocaine possession after being pulled over by Texas authorities in May.
Tina Turner’s son, whose biological mother is Lorraine Taylor with musician Ike Turner, was also charged with tampering with evidence, according to the police report.
Turner, whose full name is Izear Luster Turner Jr., has not yet posted $70,000 bail and is still detained.
The Alvin Police Department conducted a traffic stop at approximately 12:09 a.m. on Saturday, May 6 for a vehicle with an “equipment violation.”

“A subsequent investigation led to the driver, Izear Luster Turner Jr. being arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (crack cocaine) PG 1 F/3 and Tampering with Evidence F/3,” the report said.
His passenger, Jessica Salinas-Esquivel, was also charged with “Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine.)”
Authorities seized 1.7 grams of crack cocaine and less than a gram of methamphetamines.

Turner Jr. also had an unrelated warrant listed on the police report.
Tina Turner died on May 24 in her home in Küsnacht, Switzerland, near Zurich, according to her manager.
